Mlindo The Vocalist on ‘Lindokuhle’
Lindokuhle means ‘wait for good’, it’s actually my real name. I decided to name [the album] after myself because people have been asking for a project from me for the past 3-4 years, and I just wanted to take my time, grow as a person, not just rush it because people are hungry for music. I recorded this whole album in my studio, and I just talk about everything that I was going through these past 4 years, the ups and downs. It’s just Lindokuhle - wait for good - so everyone that has been waiting for my music, it’s finally out so the good thing they were waiting for is actually out there now.

Mlindo The Vocalist on Playing To His Strengths
Nothing much changed musically, because I’m still very lyrical and I don’t wanna do songs that everyone is doing now. I just wanted to stay to my strong points - my music’s that one that motivates people that are going through stuff, so it’s actually like more of the same of ‘Emakhaya’, with just a little more of the stories of what actually happened for me in the past four years.

Mlindo The Vocalist on Motivating The Next Generation
The album for me is my growth, for the past four years. I’ve had my ups and downs so in the songs I’m talking about that. I’m motivating another kid that’s gonna be coming up that these things actually happen, it’s part of life so whatever you’re going through just make sure you keep your head high, don’t let the world swallow you because you might say you’re going through something [but] there’s actually someone that is going through something that is 10x what you are going through. It’s not about you like that, it’s not like God is punishing you for something. We all go through stuff so this album I’m just motivating the next kid to like… collect. Don’t actually take your life because you’re going through stuff like that.
