Armand holds on to the top spot at Red Bull Dance Your Style Johannesburg Qualifier!
Armand Pretorius, a 26-year-old dancer hailing from Pretoria, was crowned the Red Bull Dance Your Style Johannesburg Qualifier champion this past weekend. Despite not winning in the Bloemfontein qualifiers, Armand proved to be a force to be reckoned with in conquering his opponents and clinching the top spot.
Drawing in an energetic crowd of dance enthusiasts, the competition showcased dancers of varying styles competing for victory in a unique 1-on-1 format. The competition, esteemed for its emphasis on freestyling moves, electrified the audience.
"I may have missed out in Bloemfontein, but conquering the Joburg qualifier has been a dream come true. I'm grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to represent my city in the national finals.” – Armand shared
He will represent Johannesburg in the upcoming national finals in Gqeberha on the 7th of September, where the top dancers from across South Africa will be competing for the title of Red Bull Dance Your Style 2024 title.
