Atlanta Rising Star DaVionne Releases Debut EP "Good Grief"

Following her Grammy Nominated Work on "Revenge of the Dreamers III" and starring role in Alicia Keys Upcoming Documentary “Uncharted”

DaVionne, Atlanta’s emerging singer, songwriter, and producer, releases her debut EP, "Good Grief." Born from DaVionne's own experiences from heartbreak, the emotionally charged EP is a deeply personal project that artfully explores the various stages of the human experience with loss and healing.

The project showcases DaVionne's distinctive blend of soulful vocals, evocative lyrics, and dynamic musicality. With each track symbolizing each of the five stages of grief, from the anger in “Not the One” to the acceptance reflected in her closing track “The Sun Hit My Eyes”, listeners are invited to embark in this vulnerable depiction of the journey one must endure to ultimately find solace.

Infused with elements of R&B, folk, hip-hop, and psychedelia; DaVionne masterfully blends

these genres into an enchanting sound that complements its expansive emotionality.

DaVionne has been using her voice to weave tales of emotion since the tender age of eight. From singing in church to self-producing her material in her early teens, her journey reached a milestone at 19 when she was featured on the platinum-certified compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III,

earning her a Grammy nomination before signing a record deal.

Now, at 24, the TIDAL Rising Artist is ready to make her mark. Reflecting on her journey,

DaVionne shares,"The process of creating 'Good Grief' was both challenging and cathartic,"

DaVionne shares. "It's a reflection of my journey through heartbreak and healing, and my hope

is that it resonates with others going through their own process of grief.

This EP is about embracing our emotions, the painful alongside the beautiful, and finding joy on the other side of heartbreak."

"Good Grief" marks DaVionne's debut with Concord Records and showcases her growth as an

artist and commitment to authenticity. Co-produced with Natra Average, the EP promises to be a

milestone in DaVionne's career and a source of solace and inspiration for listeners.
