CADBURY SNACKER IS BACK WITH NEW FLAVOURS AND A REFRESHED LOOK
Cadbury has unveiled two new flavours, together with a fresh new look, with a distinctive and modern twist, for its popular Snacker range designed to entice and excite South Africans.
Containing ‘better for you’ ingredients such as oats, nuts and fruit, Cadbury Snacker offers a snacking alternative that’s not only bursting with flavour but provides a good source of fibre and is suitable for lacto-honey vegetarians.
Alongside the Original, muesli with hazelnuts on a bed of creamy Cadbury Milk Chocolate, Cadbury Snacker has introduced two delicious new choices, Cranberry & Raisin as well as Almond & Honey, ideal for those seeking an enjoyable snack or to fill the on-the-go, in-between meals or pick-me-up occasion.
According to Cadbury Innovations Manager Trushann Thomas, local consumer insights reflect that South Africans favour earthy, fruity-flavoured bars, with a naturally sweet tasting edge and a crunchy texture. ‘’The local audience expects mindful snacking solutions that provides a nutritious snack perfect for on-the-go consumption on busy days. The new Cadbury Snacker flavours deliver on both needs with fruity flavours that appeal to their natural sweetness complimented by earthy flavour notes such as nuts and oats.’’
Cadbury relaunched Snacker as part of its commitment to offer South Africans more choice within its snacking repertoire while venturing further into the mindful snacking space.
While Snacker fans can still expect the same tasty Cadbury quality that they love from the brand the new elevated packaging emphasises Cadbury’s vision to inspire generosity through its products, people, and programmes.
The Snacker logotype has been recrafted to reflect a more modern feel, which together with theearthier, softer colour palette and the natural ingredient cues, highlights the quality of the ingredients underpinned by Cadbury’s seal of approval.
Cadbury Snacker is the first Cadbury offering to carry the Mindful Snacking logo, aimed at communicating the concept of eating with intent. Central to this commitment is the focus on portion control pack formats, which are clearly communicated on the packaging.
‘’Snacker remains a popular snacking choice for South Africans. As this audience continues to seek more mindful snacking options that are both flavourful and satisfying, we remain committed to surprise and delight with an authentic, varied, tasty offering, crafted from ethically sourced ingredients that reflect the brands quality promise. We intend to make mindful snacking easier while inspiring South Africans to make more conscious snacking decisions.’’ - Lara Sidersky, Mondelez SA, Category Lead for Chocolate
The new packaging proudly showcases the Cocoa Life logo, which represents the Mondelez 100% sustainably sourced cocoa programme. This logo reflects the commitment that Cadbury has made to keep building and empowering resilient, thriving cocoa farming communities to produce its 100% sustainably sourced cocoa beans. Every time you purchase your favourite Cadbury chocolate with the Cocoa Life stamp, you are generously giving back - this is the brand’s promise to you.
Look out for the new look Cadbury Snacker range, which is currently filtering into major retailers countrywide.
