DJ MELZI GOES INTERNATIONAL WITH PURE INTENTIONS
After celebrating the release of Uthando Lujulile alongside Basetsana’s smooth vocals, Melzi wa batho, relocated to the UK to continue his growth within music. He has since continued to learn and surround himself with some great musicians and artists such as DJ Stavo and Steve Ray Ladson just to mention a few. DJ Melzi shared a snippet of themselves in a studio in the UK, working on pure intentions on his socials to tease the single.
The Bayekele hitmaker has been shouting down the streets around the world as he has been booked and busy. The versatile producer and businessman has shown us his growth and paved down his own sound within amapiano. At a tender age, he has worked with some great musicians the world has seen. We can only expect more from him.
On this new release DJ Melzi teams up with legendary producer, Dr Moruti, who South Africans are familiar with after making us dance for many years. The La Melza producer also gets the multi-talented producer and guitarist Steve Ray Ladson to add some strings on the production. Platinum award winner Mkeyz, TeekayKotu and Da Ish ensure to add their footprint on the amazing song. The track is mid-tempo with very nice bass notes and percussive sounds particularly those of the Marimba
