On the project he showcased more versatility than ever before while honing the signature sound that propelled him to prominence. 2023 has been a whirlwind for Ken Carson. He continued to build his fan base by performing at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Wireless, Rolling Loud, Lollapalooza, and more, was featured on Amazon’s AMP “The Come Up: The Next Generation Of Hip-Hop Coming Out Of ATL” where he was highlighted on the cover of VIBE Magazine, and most recently his breakout hit “Yale” off his 2020 EP Teen X, was certified Gold by the RIAA. This marks the first such honor for an Opium artist, and confirms what fans have long known: “Yale” is an unforgettable song, a pure distillation of what makes Carson such an inimitable artist. Next month Ken is set to head on tour with his Opium label-mates on Playboi Carti’s “ANTAGONIST Tour.” The international leg kicks off in Dublin on November 19th before the US run kicking off in January 2024.
