Red Bull Quicksand heads to Durban this July!
The world-renowned beach obstacle course race Red Bull Quicksand will be heading to Durban in less than three weeks! The event will be taking place on 16 July 2022 at New Beach from 08:00am!
Runners and fitness enthusiasts that want to take part in the race can head over to https://www.entryninja.com/events/77903-red-bull-quicksand to secure their spot before tickets run out, entry fees are R100 per person.
Red Bull Quicksand could be the most challenging mile the athletes ever run, as runners expend 1.6 times more energy on sand than running on a road surface. The demanding 1 mile course includes a number of sandy climbs, giving competitors a full fitness examination, the inaugural local event will see participants push through the sand on the one-mile long course under the scorching Durban sun.
