The Mbatha sisters – Nomzamo and Wendy – are the celebrity guests on episode two of popular festive season special, Festive Get-Together in The Life Artois, which broadcasts on Thursday at 21h30 on Mzansi Magic, DSTV channel 161.

Hosted by Unathi Nkayi and presented by Stella Artois, Festive Get-Together puts the spotlight on celebrity pairs who recount their journeys to success over a special meal while sharing the challenges of getting together with those who matter most.

For both Shaka Ilembe actress & human rights activist, Nomzamo, and her entrepreneur sister, Wendy, 2023 has been a long and trying year on both work and relationship fronts and, on Festive Get-Together, the sisters explore insights and emotional moments as friends & sisters.

In each episode, Unathi is also joined by a celebrity chef to create dishes for guests that invoke fond memories of love for their family & friends. This time round, acclaimed Chef Zanele Van Zyl creates a special brunch menu reflecting the sisters’ KZN upbringing.

Last week Festive Get-Together featured the Ranaka Sisters - Manaka, Dineo and Mpumi – whose “Stella Moment” brought the siblings closer after an arduous year which tested the family foundation.

“Every time we meet at the Festive Get-Together table, I have a new sense of renewal and I’m reminded how great South Africans are. It’s the conversations we have that really inspires us to make the most of who we are,” says Unathi Nkayi.
