SA Hip-Hop royalty Nasty C and K.O colab on their new track ‘Too Much’

South African hip-hop heavyweights Nasty C and K.O, in collaboration with Skhandaworld have joined forces for an exciting new single titled ‘too much’. This collaboration serves as a reminder that while other genres have taken over in recent times, hip-hop in South Africa is still alive. The track highlights the braggadocios theme of material gains and flexing, showcasing the artists’ distinctive styles of delivery.

In ‘too much’, Nasty C reflects on personal milestones, including his relationship with the mother of his child and the some of the privileges he’s afforded his son through his fame and notoriety. His introspective verses contrast with K.O’s dynamic verse and chorus, where he brings his unique voice and signature local flair when he raps, creating an infectious hook that elevates the track.

This collaboration marks a significant moment in South African hip-hop, combining the lyrical depth of Nasty C with the energetic flair of K.O. The last time we saw these two global artists collaborate was when they featured on DJ Vigilante’s ‘Bang Out’ almost a decade ago. Both of these artists have garnered global recognition for their contributions to the genre, and ‘too much’ promises to resonate with their fans and followers across the globe.

These two hip-hop giants have amassed worldwide acclaim, and this release comes as a statement to the industry that the local hip-hop scene is still alive, and will hopefully open the way for many other hip-hop artists who still wish to release music in 2024. The track is vibey and light-hearted, nothing short of good quality music and enjoyable soundscapes.
