It has been long overdue for the release of the ‘Mina Nawe’ music video as the song has won the hearts of many across the country. Soa Mattrix finally drops the official music video for the hit single ‘Mina Nawe’ with an eye-catching storyline. The music video details the story of two lovers that just want to love one another freely without the judgment of others. Nigel Stockl was brought in to give the music video his magical touch as they needed a strong storyline that many can resonate with and he did indeed deliver, this is felt through the vintage aesthetic, directing style, and cinematography as he gave it depth and life.
This hit song has been on Heavy rotation at radio stations across the country, services like Apple Music and Spotify have seen the song hit their charts and the official audio on YouTube has received more than 11M streams. The smash hit is currently still creating buzz at clubs around the country.
The Music Video is a true compliment to the success of the song, the creativity and quality used in the planning and executing of this video lifts the bar to the creation of music videos in the Amapiano space.

About Soa Mattrix
Born in Diepkloof in Soweto, Producer and DJ Soa Mattrix (born Mandla Mashakeni) developed a fondness for music very young. He comes from a musical family from his father’s side, a renowned guitarist within his community. Soa's days at Diepdale High School got him involved in both filming and musical activities. Although his shine came in the Amapiano era, he first took a shine in house music production and melody progression.
He became a hit-producing artist when his top charting song titled "Uthando" with a local vocalist was well received and turned into an Amapiano anthem.
The evidence of this was when the tune stayed in the leading charts for the entire 5 months. This followed the release of his own debut album titled "Sounds of Africa" in 2019 which he described as a dream come true to his career.
Last year (2021) he successfully teamed up with one of the influential producers in the country, DJ Maphorisa to release a very successful joint project titled Tintswalo. The extra popular tracks there include Umama Akekho, Idlozi, and Dropline, among others. Its total streaming only around the content exceeded over 5 million. So far, he has worked with several South African celebrated artists like Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Sir Trill, Nkosazana Daughter, Emotionz DJ, Soulful G, etc.
