Soweto Theatre to Host The 6th Annual Mzantsi Jazz Awards

Soweto Theatre in partnership with The Mzantsi Jazz Awards Company is excited to host the 6th season of the Jazz awards on 27 August 2022 at Soweto Theatre. This is with the purpose to celebrate, appreciate the genre and also to uplift and heal the artist and the listener alike.

Some of the top musicians that have previously been awarded include Sibusiso ''Mash'' Mashiloane, Deelee Dube, Asher Gamedze, and Thembelihle Dunjana & Linda Tshabalala amongst others. The jazz award will venerate, recognize & celebrate the rich heritage and contribution of jazz music, jazz artists, radio stations supporting jazz and jazz clubs/venues in our country & internationally.
