Popular hair care brand Sta-Sof-Fro announced the return of their impactful and empowering campaign, Switch It Up 2022 earlier this year. This weekend, it all culminated in a spectacular grand finale – something synonymous with the brand throughout its successful years of the life-changing campaign.

 

50 in-store lucky winners and their besties from across all provinces in South Africa were afforded an all-expenses-paid vacation and an opportunity of a lifetime aboard a 3-day Cruise between 19-21 November 2022. The mandate was simple- #BestLifeIRL, a retreat to celebrate the year and all achievements and failures that came with it and give guests the chance to take it all in and give each other a pat on the back. The lucky ladies who all came from different walks of life all came in with one common intent which is lifting an unyielding flag that exudes “I Am One, I Am Both”- a phrase that speaks to the multifaceted nature of women, seen in the official Sta-Sof-Fro TV commercial.

Hosted by media darling Rorisang Thandekiso and face of the brand Sibulele Sibaca and supported by the campaign’s influencers Aurelia Nxumalo, Kelly Thela, and Mihlali Matokazi-Bangisi, who are all respected trailblazers by own right. Guests enjoyed breathtaking views on the deck, a jam-packed itinerary including the campaign influencers’ intimate and interactive open-mic session with winners talking about life, wellness, health and happiness.

 

“We danced the night away with strangers that became friends, we were encouraged and I’m grateful for the sisterhood I felt this weekend!”, commented a competition winner.
