THABO M NDLOVU WINS IDOLS SA SEASON 19 2023
On the 8th of July we saw the start of IDOLS SA Season 19 where hopeful singers found themselves at auditions with judge JR Bogopa, Thembi Seete, and Somizi Mhlongo.
Throughout the season we connected with many hopefuls and journeyed with them on the crazy emotional rollercoaster but at the end of the day, this is a competition and there can only be one winner.
The final show allowed us to witness performances from Cassper Nyovest, Vusi Nova, Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse and a very special collaboration with PJ Morton and the final two, Prncess and Thabo M Ndlovu.
An especially touching highlight to this finale was when Yvonne Chaka Chaka surprised Prncess with a guest appearance after hearing her perform umqombothi on an earlier show.
Overall, it was an incredible show, all the artists performed with excellent precision, Prncess offered a show-stopping performance that took people out of their seats and found them dancing and clapping.
In the end, there can only be one winner and the winner is… Thabo M Ndlovu!
The announcement saw him fall to his knees in disbelief, with tears of joy in his eyes, he thanked the crowd and all those watching at home for their support and went on to put on a stellar performance of his song, Islungu.
