The Aon Inanda International Polo in association with Bravo Brands was the talk of the town this past weekend as people gathered at the Inanda Club in Royal Polo Chic attire to witness the epic 23 goal clash between South Africa and Argentina. The highly anticipated match of the season saw a 5 – 10 score where Argentina swept up the winning title on the day.

 

The day of the polo was met with delightful weather and pictureques views of the prestigious Inanda Club where guests gathered in stunning, high-end fashion inspired by the events Royal Polo Chic theme. The event saw the likes of Jozi’s elite and some much loved personalities, such as reality TV star and award-winning business woman, Ayanda Ncwane and her brother, stylist to the stars, Phupho Gumede who showed up in true fashion with a burst of colour. The likes of singer, Thabsie, actress, Sonia Mbele and The Wife stars, Mondli Makhoba, Kwenzo Ngcobo as well as Sipho Ndlovu to mention a few were also spotted at the event. 

 

The main game was opened by His Excellency Ambassador, Claudio Pèrez Paadino (Argentinian Ambassador to South Africa) and chucker after chucker the crowds cheered as the two sides clashed right to the last second where Argentina came out victorious. Guests had the opportunity to get up close and personal during divot stomping, a much loved tradition for the sport of kings.  This was followed by further celebrations and the flickering of cameras looking to capture the best dressed to deliver to the watchful eye of the Inanda Club Style Council.
