The Battle of the Best: Verb versus The World
After the much-anticipated National Final dance battles between all the dancers from all different regions, Durban based dancer Senzosenkosi Bhengu known as “Verb” has been crowned the South African Red Bull Dance Your Style National Champion! With his unique take on street dance, Verb will be able to make his way through some of the world’s best dancers to claim this prestigious title.
Verb’s journey to this title has been nothing short of amazing. He has entered the competition five times and has since progressed to be one of the best Krumping dancers in South Africa. After being added as a wild card, Verb was able to show off his skills at the national level where he proved that there is no stopping him.
“Winning in my home town and going to the World Final again feels so amazing. I want to grow from and hopefully win the world final. I’m look forward to represent South Africa and seeing the other dancers from across the globe. My confidence has changed for the better and I’ll make it a point to bring it back home”.
The Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final is a dance competition like no other. In this unique event, the world’s best street dancers will come together to compete for the prestigious title of “World Champion” that will be taking place in Germany on November 4th.
