The race is on as Crown Chasers starts on S3

The new season of Crown Chasers – the thrilling six-part reality series showing the Miss South Africa competition and what it really takes to win the crown – starts on S3 on Saturday (June 29) at 20h30.

It follows the contestants’ ups and downs and their fears, tears, laughs and joy as they edge closer to the moment when those left standing participate in the live grand finale at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on August 10 when one of them will take the Miss South Africa 2024 title.

During the course of the series, those competing for the crown will be placed in real life Miss South Africa scenarios that include a series of challenges based on the four pillars of Miss South Africa – duty, championship, empowerment and beauty.

And who better to host the series and take viewers along for the ride than reigning queen, Natasha Joubert, who knows exactly what this year’s contestants will face each week.

“Having taken part in Crown Chasers myself, I know exactly what challenges the contestants will face during this gruelling journey and how hard it can be. It’s a wonderful opportunity for South Africa to really get to know the person who will eventually take the crown and for the winner to understand what is expected of them during their reign, and realise that they are resilient and can achieve anything they set their minds to.”

In the first episode - Meet Your Crown Chasers - viewers will meet the Top 30 as they are put through their paces by the show’s resident judges, Leandie du Randt and Lerato Kganyago, as well as the CEO of the Miss South Africa Organisation, Stephanie Weil.
