What The…FantaTM?!

FantaTM launches #WhatTheFanta in South Africa. An interactive new campaign which asks consumers to guess the flavour of Fanta’s fruity new innovation.


FantaTM has officially unveiled the exciting new #WhatTheFanta global campaign in South Africa. At the core of this interactive flavour guessing campaign is a brand-new limited edition mysteriously flavoured FantaTM, which is formulated to challenge consumers’ senses and taste buds with contrasting flavour notes. FantaTM is encouraging fans to join the conversation and guess the flavour on Fanta’s digital and social platforms. The brand will release clues in fun and innovative ways and the answer will be revealed on 1 November 2022.

 

To participate in this guessing mission, consumers must purchase the new #WhatTheFanta pack and wrap their tastebuds in the fruity mystery flavour. You will know when you see it- it’s blue. To submit your guesses, scan the on-pack QR code to visit the FantaTM hub which is a dedicated website for this campaign. If your tastebuds still need more clues, visit Instagram, Facebook or the FantaTM hub for weekly clues and if your guesses are right, you stand the chance to win amazing prizes.  On 1 November 2022, all will be revealed on FantaTM ‘s digital and social channels, and winners will be notified for cracking the mystery.

In true FantaTM style, the brand is extending the guessing game and fun to Mzansi’s social media playground, Instanation in Johannesburg. FantaTM unveiled a brand-new #WhatTheFanta-themed exhibition booth for consumers to interact with. Popular teen figures, including content creators Khanyisa, Moghelingz and Alphi Sipho, attended the event.

It is a flavour guessing game in a bottle. We were inspired by our teen consumers, who live in full colour and are open to a world of discovery and intriguing flavour experiences,” says, Kwanda Dlamini, South Africa Frontline Marketing Manager: Flavours.  

 

The #WhatTheFanta flavour is available for purchase across 400ml can, 2.25L PET, 2L PET and 440ml PET pack sizes.
