DRIP GOGO DESCRIBES HEARTBREAK IN NEW SINGLE ‘TSHWARA NGWANO’
Drip Gogo is back with his 2nd offering of the year titled ‘Thswara Ngwana’ which features the likes of Dj Karri; Exceed DeeJay; HarrisDontcare and FME Djs.
The Amapiano single showcases a complicated love story with well-guiding vocals to the hook.
‘Tshwara Ngwana’ consists of a heavy log drum and an electrifying instrumental with subtle keys from a piano. The song will have you dancing away your heartbreak as the catchy hook wins you over. HarrisDontcare’s verse adds a more multilingual side to the song as he raps, he infuses the Xitsonga language with the Setswana language with a bit of street lingo.
It is a vibey song and worth having on your playlist as it sets the mood for the weekend allowing one to feel free.

ABOUT DRIP GOGO
Born Nhlanhla Daryl Moqhayi & bred in Mpumalanga, Emalahleni in a small town called Witbank. Drip Gogo was birthed on 16 December 1998. Drip Gogo began singing as early as 8 years old but growing up in a mining and construction background never stood in his way of acquiring his dreams. At the age of 19, Drip Gogo studied and attained a Certificate in Professional Cooking and worked as a Chef de Cuisine (Executive Chef) & due to his work ethic, promoted to manage the restaurant namely Strong Fellows.
Although his cooking aspirations, Drip Gogo’s superstar childhood dream came haunted him as he began performing for his clients after serving them, 3 months later he resigned to focus strictly on his music career. Drip Gogo rose to fame after his appearance on Mzansi’s Biggest dating show DATE MY FAMILY in 2021. In the same year, Drip Gogo joined Dj Sumbody's label in joint ventures with Sony Music Entertainment Africa then featured in an all-time banger with Dj Sumbody & The Lowkeys titled ‘IYAMEMEZA’ which scored No. 1 on Metro FM top 40 within a week then went Gold 3 months after its release. ‘Iyamemeza’ is currently certified 3x Platinum.
Drip Gogo has also worked with the likes of Lamiez Holworthy in a song titled ‘Sthokoze’. Although their great musical success, Drip Gogo left Sumsounds Music Productions to spread his wings and oversee greater opportunities. In 2023, Drip Gogo founded his record label, “Wata Music Productions”, which aims to deliver great music inspired by incorporating different indigenous sounds from around the world to deliver unique music, namely Spiritual Amapiano. 3 Drip Gogo’s name was inspired by his spiritual journey as he is currently a practicing Traditional Healer & an elder (uGobela). Drip Gogo describes his sound as Music for The People. From being a Traditional Healer, and a Chef, to a Multi-Platinum Selling Artist & an International Dj, Drip Gogo defines himself as an Epitome of Ukukhanya (Light) & Success.
