JUNIOR TAURUS ACTIVATES THE MOOD OF FESTIVE WITH BRAND NEW TWO TRACK SINGLE "ONLY IN DECEMBER"
Following the release of his collaborative EP “The Ritual” with longtime friend Jubsta in October is iconic music producer, DJ and entrepreneur Junior Taurus with a brand new two track single titled “Only In December”.
Junior Taurus has been hard at work this year with the recent DJ Sumbody single titled “Sumbody Nice” with Murumba Pitch, released in honour of the late DJ Sumbody’s legacy and contributions towards the music and entertainment space. He has done immaculate work at that as he continues to contribute and extend DJ Sumbody’s vision with the push of 'Ayepyep Lifestyle’ in Cape Town and their many initiatives for the year.
Junior is now ready to push the street sound which accommodates the festive mood and joyous memories created with our loved ones in the month of December over the dance floor with his ear grabbing tracks which fully form “Only In December”. The single is opened up with the first track titled “Gucci Bag” which is vocally led by Madam MC over a collaborative production between Junior Taurus and BEAN RSA which encompasses of Durban’s traditional Gqom sound and Amapiano sounds into one. “Gucci Bag” is all about the nice life with no stress but expensive taste as the catchy hook best rides the beat and delivers the message across smoothly.
“Gucci Bag” is then followed by “Tshwara Mona” which features vocalist and songwriter “Secret” over a Barcardi and Amapiano infused instrumental which is all about putting on your ‘light up shoes’ on the dance floor and shaking those hips. It is an easy listen track as it concludes the single pack with a more hyped and and groovy tone.
As we prepare to close off the year, Junior Taurus has clearly put his fans in mind and many fellow partygoers in mind with great music for great vibes and great memories amongst great people. “Only In December” is a party pack which can start or continue the party through its unique packaging and production. About Junior Taurus:
Platinum-selling and multi-award nominated Dj/Producer, Tshepo Mosidi better known as, Junior Taurus was born in the heart of Rustenburg and raised in Pretoria, South Africa.

Since the establishment of his musical career, Junior Taurus has managed to gain himself over 5 South African Music Award nominations as well as 2 Metro FM award nominations which further led to the birthing of his own sub-genre namely known as “Broken Beats” which is an influx of street based genres such as ‘Bacardi’ and much more. He has successfully scouted and discovered acts in which he assisted in his label management era.
It was in 2023 where Junior Taurus received the opportunity to formally contribute to one of Usher’s remixes for his own hit single “Ruin” in which he topped the charts across various radio stations around the world.
He now returns in 2024 with a brand new sound and prepares to take his audience on an experience of street music through a stellar project collaboration with longtime and collaborator Jubsta. The project which is titled “The Ritual” will be released on the 3rd of October 2024 on all streaming platforms.
