Singer-songwriter Leomile behind the rollout of her EP "Nevermind" with title track “Nevermind”
Leomile announced her EP "Nevermind" out on the 13th of September 2024, the first single is the title track "Nevermind".
The single "Nevermind". represents the moment of epiphany, a clear vision restored. The artist speaks with certainty, acknowledging herself as someone who has emerged from a sort of delirium. She no longer seeks to co-write a story with an unwilling collaborator, understanding that her love interest's emotional limitations do not define her worth. The dreamy, guitar laden folk song is a confident and unattached adieu, an opening to a new chapter devoid of catering to an unreciprocated love.
About Leomile
Leomile is a soulful singer-songwriter and composer whose musical tapestry in Sesotho and English, muses on important issues of identity, love and belonging. Her debut album, ‘Pula-Molomo’ was released in 2016 and she has since played various big stages across the African continent. Leomile was one of the first artists’ to be supported by ALTBLK>> a home for unique African independent artists, founded by Msaki releasing a collaborative single with acclaimed SAMA winner Maleh entitled ‘Bana ba Khoale’.
Her upcoming EP project “Nevermind.” is an ode to rebirth and self-renewal, explored through a complex romantic journey from initial courtship to eventual separation.
